Beachwood, Ohio. Since 2005.

Whatever got in, it came in somewhere.

Catch A Critter removes the animal humanely, clears what it left behind, and seals the gap it used. One call, 24 hours a day, across Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga Counties.

The envelope

Trapping is the short half of the job.

An attic is not the animal's idea. It is a gap at a roof vent, a lifted ridge line, an uncapped chimney. Take the raccoon out and leave the gap, and the house simply waits for the next one. Every job here ends at the building, not at the truck.

The truck

No lettering on the side of it.

One customer in Cleveland Heights wrote that the thing she appreciated most was that the truck says nothing about extermination. It is a small decision, and it is deliberate. Whatever is happening at your house is nobody else's business on that street.

What the bed actually carries is traps, rolled exclusion mesh, sprayers and bait stations, and on the day this photograph was taken, an owl that needed moving rather than removing.

Catch A Critter did an excellent job! We had an emergency with a bird that fell into our fireplace from the chimney, and they came out quickly to help. They were kind, professional, and handled everything with care. I really appreciated how calmly and efficiently they took care of the situation. Highly recommend their services!

The questions that come up at the door

Both, and usually on the same visit. Catch A Critter removes rats, mice, raccoons, skunks, moles, chipmunks, bats, birds and opossums, and treats ants, roaches, spiders, termites, fleas, carpenter ants, carpenter beetles, bedbugs, wasps, bees, mosquitoes, centipedes, Indian meal moth, ticks and fruit flies. Most calls start as one problem and turn out to involve the other.

Yes. Only safe and humane removal methods are used, by trained technicians. Every job starts with a thorough property inspection to identify which animal is actually there before anything is set, because the wrong assumption means the wrong method.

Yes. Catch A Critter runs 24 hour emergency service, seven days a week. A bird down a chimney or a bat in a bedroom is not a Monday morning problem, so the phone is answered anytime on (216) 323-2045.

The job is not finished when the animal leaves. Clean-up and sanitation removes feces, nests and contaminated insulation, then treats the affected areas to kill the hazardous bacteria left behind, and can treat the air in the home to clear harmful particles. Entry points are then blocked and sealed, chimney caps included, so the next one cannot follow the same route in.

Either. A single treatment settles most problems. For properties that need to stay ahead of it, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual plans are available for both residential and commercial customers.

It is worse at night, and we answer at night.

Scratching overhead, a bird down the chimney, bees at the soffit. Call the Beachwood office any hour and speak to a person who will tell you what it probably is before anyone is scheduled.
